  • In this session, we will review z/OS Communication Server networking technologies that help maximize the value of the parallel sysplex environment. Recent enhancements in the area of High Availability and workload balancing will be discussed, including considerations for enabling these features. Topics will also include best practices recommendations for intra-sysplex connectivity and external connectivity into the sysplex environment, including techniques for achieving network interface resilience in a flat network and the impacts of using stateful firewalls in the Sysplex access network.
