In this session, the speaker will discuss the new features in the Hardware Management Console (HMC) 2.12.0, available with the IBM zEnterprise EC12. The speaker will cover several technical and user interface (UI) enhancements which include STP NTP Server Authentication support, Export Certificate handling to ease the update process for CA (Certificate Authority) and Self Signed certificates, Environmental Efficiency Statistics Task, removal of modem support (HMC STP and RSF (Remote Support Facility) changes), HMC support for new zEnterprise features (Crypto Express4S, zFlash, zAware), and HMC zBX (System z BladeCenter Extension) updated support.
