Storing PB and EB of data requires systems that can handle the volume while holding down the cost. The ability to match appropriate type of technology with data type, and dynamically move data to the optimal tier based on actual use is the only way to assure the storage is used in cost-effective manner while meeting application requirements. In this session we will examine the best practices of integrated approach to categorizing and storing data across multiple storage tiers.
