  • z/VM 6.2, the newest release of z/VM, provides multi-system virtualization capability, allowing up to four instances of z/VM to collaborate as members of a Single System Image (SSI) cluster. In addition, Live Guest Relocation (LGR) allows to relocation of running Linux guests from one member of a cluster to another. Come to this session for an overview of these exciting new capabilities in z/VM.

    This is the first in a series of 3 sessions covering SSI and LGR. More details will be provided in "Planning and Migrating to z/VM Single System Image" session 12361 and "z/VM Live Guest Relocation - Planning and Use" session 12482.
