Handouts
  • WebSphere Application Server - Being the Back-Up Administrator (419.1 kB)
  • You have WebSphere Application Server somewhere in your shop.  You've heard some war stories.  Maybe a rumor you might have to be the back up for the Admin.  Or maybe you'd just like to have some skills in another area.  Just in case.  Come learn about WAS.  We'll cover the basics of what it is, what it gets used for, what it looks like on z/OS, and more.  We'll give you the basics and pointers to where you can learn more.  When you get asked, "Do you know anything about WAS?" you'll be able to say "Yeah, a little."
