Biographical Sketch: Andrei Lurie is a Senior Software Engineer at IBM Silicon Valley Lab, San Jose. He has 13 years of experience in developing DB2 for z/OS and has participated in the development of many major line items for DB2 since DB2 for z/OS Version 8. Andrei's main DB2 areas of expertise are in query execution and SQL. Currently, he is a technical lead for Structure Generator and Runtime components in the DB2 RDS area. Most of his recent work has been in the area of query performance.
