Biographical Sketch: Bruce Armstrong is a Strategy and Design Manager for System z in IBM Software Group in the Application Integration Middleware (AIM) division. He is based in Research Triangle Park near Raleigh, North Carolina. He is a frequent speaker on IBM technology and strategy, especially for z/OS environments at SHARE and other industry events. Bruce has over 30 years in the IT industry ranging from being an IBM customer, IBM consultant, sales, and product development. He is currently leading a project to enhance System z role in the deployment and management of mobile devices for both enterprise internal use and with their customers.
