Biographical Sketch: Dr. Jacob Ukelson has a proven track record in discovering and developing innovative solutions to real-world customer problems, and then developing them into products. Jacob has fostered innovation in many different environments, including both research and business settings. In his role at ConicIT Jacob is applying behavioral analytics to solve performance issues in real world mainframe applications. Jacob has led the design and development of many large-scale applications in both startups and large companies. Prior to ConicIT, Jacob was the CTO of Actionbase, VP Products at Dapper (now Yahoo!), CTO at Itemfield (now Informatica) and department general manager at IBM’s TJ Watson research labs. In 1989, Jacob received his D.Sc. in computer science from the Technion, Israel's Institute of Technology.
