Biographical Sketch: Rob has been involved with VM since 1982, and with Linux on z/VM since 1999. Initially as a VM customer, later with IBM Global Services, and currently with Velocity Software GmbH. Rob is co-author of several IBM Redbooks and frequently speaks at Technical Conferences. At Velocity Software his tasks include performance management consultancy for zVPS customers, Linux on z/VM performance research and product development for the Velocity Software Performance Management products. Apart from Linux on z/VM, his professional interests include most that can be done on VM, especially CMS Pipelines. Rob is "Knight of VM" and a has been a very active plumber for more than 20 years.
