IBM Corporation
Biographical Sketch: I have more than 28 years of experience working as a software engineer on mainframe operating systems with IBM. I received my diploma in computer science from University Kaiserslautern (K-Town, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany) in 1984 and joined IBM in the same year. Up to 1990 I have been working with VSE/SP, later called VSE/ESA (now zVSE) components, then I moved to the International Technical Support Center (ITSC), working on several redbook projects. In 1993 I went back to VSE/ESA change team and level2 support. In 1997 I joined the development team of the new 'System Automation for OS/390', today called 'System Automation for z/OS', product. My main focus areas are the ISPF-based user interface of SA z/OS, initialization of the so-called automation agent and integration of SA z/OS with GDPS.
