Part 1 of a 2 part session. This introductory technical discussion will introduce SANs(Storage Area Networks) to those who are not familiar with them or who don't have as complete an understanding as they would like. It will discuss these for those with little to no background in SANs and will give the user some sense of the concepts, terms, acronyms, and challenges faced when starting to look at implementing a SAN.
