  • In a z/OS environment, batch is a fundamental workload. And of all batch processing, the nighttime batch stream window is the most important to firmly understand. That is, it is important to understand the job flows, the job and job step timings, and resource consumption of the jobs and job steps, and to develop an basic understanding of the job stream itself.
