Biographical Sketch: I started working in IT as a programmer 38 years ago after graduating with a BS in applied mathematics. 25 years has been with IBM, the remainder split between several consultant groups, vendors and data centers. I have worked in application development, database design and maintenance, systems, and technical sales. For the last fourteen years I have worked in IBM middleware technical sales support. From a personal perspective I am married with four children and four grandchildren. My hobbies are painting, wood carving, and hiking/backpacking/canoeing/camping. I also have a serious addiction to fiction, movies and books, that fall into the horror, sci fi, and fantasy genres. Oh yes, I do like computer games.
