Biographical Sketch: I have a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Utah. I began my career as an application programmer in 1975 and have worked in the areas of statistical analysis, computer graphics, image processing and numerical analysis. I have provided Unix technical support since 1995, and have been providing Linux technical support since shortly after I joined IBM in 2000, with emphasis on Linux on System z for the last 4.5 years.
