Biographical Sketch: I reside in Louisville, Colorado and moved here in 1991 to work for StorageTek. I graduated from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania with a BS in Mathematics in 1979. I have one daughter who skis for the University of New Mexico ski team. From 1979 to 1991 I worked in the DOD world building simulators for submarines and fighter aircraft. From 1991 to 2003 I worked on StorageTek's Shared Virtual Array disk product line. In 2003 I transferred to tape to develop the initial T10000A product line. When I worked in the disk world, product features was a key element. My goal on tape was and still is to introduce data management features.
