  • Internal and external threats is something every organization must plan for in order to preserve system integrity for your business.  IBM has a number of solutions available that can meet your organizations RPO (Recovery Point Objective) and RTO (Recovery Time Objective) for Business Continuity  A two part series, the first session will cover an introduction to Business Continuity and where the various IBM software products fit in the Business Continuity Tiers.  This first session will focus on the specific features that TotalStorage Productivity Center for Replication (TPC-R) provides.  The second part will cover the DFSMS components (ICKDSF, SDM, DFSMSdss, FlashCopy/PPRC Manager) that exploit FlashCopy, Metro Mirror, Global Mirror, and zOS Global Mirror that will explain the various capabilities of each that will help determine what component will meet your disaster recover needs.
