    • This presentation provides an example of analyzing the applicability of zIIP and zAAP engines for LPARs. This analysis at the LPAR level is not the whole picture. Workload License Charges are based on the simultaneous 4HRA of all the LPARs on a machine. Hence the impact on the software charges cannot be determined without examining the impact on the entire machine, for an entire month. An overview of Workload License Charges is included as that is key to the use of zIIP and zAAP engines.
