Speaker: Steve Warren (IBM Corporation)
Handouts
  • Simple BCPii Programming for the z/OS System Programmer (553.0 kB)
  • Did you ever wish your installation could monitor or control your System z hardware configuration directly from z/OS?  z/OS BCPii applications can easily be written to programmatically query the topology of your System z configuration, and to even make dynamic changes, without the need to use an interactive end user interface found at the HMC.  Real coding examples will be given to show how system programmers can easily implement this back at their shops.  Included in the presentation will be a quick BCPii update for z/OS 1.13.
