Handouts
  • Watson NLP (24.1 MB)
  • Watson was fun. But real life is full of real challenges. The real test of technology is how you can apply it today across different industries to have real impact. Earlier this year, an IBM computer called "Watson" competed on Jeopardy!, beating two of the show’s most successful contestants. More than just a game player, Watson is a breakthrough in the scientific field of open-domain Deep Question Answering and Natural Language Processing (NLP). Using NLP, Watson’s capability to "read" the volume of printed words exceeds the capacity of human practitioners and Watson effectively demonstrated how this could be used to assist or advise human decisions.

Our speaker will explain how you can leverage the same NLP technology found in Watson to develop answers to your critical business issues.
