This is the abstract for the first presentation:

Are you afraid that exploiting features in new IMS releases will complicate your universe? New connectivity methods, new address spaces, new IMS commands – it can make you feel like  you’ re in a Vulcan Mind Meld.  Your IMS systems can’t take any more – or can they?  With effective monitoring, management, and automation, your IMS systems will live long and prosper.  Learn how BMC MainView for IMS  enables you to diagnose and correct problems at warp speed. Engage and beam your IMS Enterprise into the next galaxy.

This is the abstract for the second presentation:

IMS has been around and in production for over 40 years as the backbone system of many world class organizations in all industry verticals.  Now with some of the new technologies and systems many are looking to try to replace those tried and true systems. Why replace something that is tried and true?  Why not just incorporate the new technologies and let them drive the existing IMS systems . See how it is also possible to create services in IMS and access them via REST, Webservices or JCA and include them in technologies like Sharepoint, Mashups or others systems.
