Biographical Sketch: Many of you know Russ Teubner as the founder and CEO of HostBridge Technology. Some of you may also know him as a serial software entrepreneur, who formed his first company in 1984 and developed half a dozen software products before the company merged with a European ISV in 1998. This is all true. But at heart Russ is a puzzle solver, a designer, a bridge builder. He loves nothing more than to find disconnected stuff that ought to work together – and then making it happen in elegant and efficient ways. The HostBridge ad in the Mainframe Executive magazine sums up his company’s latest iteration of this passion – “Build a Bridge, from z to anywhere, and zIIP on it....”.
