Biographical Sketch: Mark Post is a Technical Support Engineer IV in Novell's Global Technical Support team. After working with MVS at GM and EDS for most of his career, he is currently responsible for supporting Novell's Linux customers worldwide. He has been in the Information Technology business for 32 years, 23 of them with EDS. Since May of 2000, Mark has been deeply involved with the Linux for S/390 and zSeries platform, and was one of the co-authors of IBM's second Redbook on Linux/390, "Linux for zSeries and S/390: Distributions, SG24-6264." In addition to being an active participant in the Linux-390 mailing list that is hosted by Marist College, he is the webmaster for the mailing list's companion web site, linuxvm.org. Mark was the Deputy Project Manager for the SHARE Linux project from 2003 to 2010, before assuming the Project Manager role. Before working for EDS, Mark worked at the General Motors Proving Ground in Milford, Michigan as an application programmer, and then as a systems programmer supporting MVS and VM. Mark received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri - Rolla in 1978.
