Biographical Sketch: Shivram Ganduri is an IBM Senior Software Engineer. He has been a DB2 developer since v7, with emphasis on Distributed Data Facility (DDF) and DRDA (Open Group Standard). He has a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University. He holds patents in DB2 for DB2 Data Sharing in a Distributed environment and for managing LOBs in a multi-tier Distributed environment. He runs the DRDA Architecture Board at IBM. He is also a speaker at the DB2 Regional User Groups (RUG) and at SHARE. He is currently the DB2 rep for SHARE.
