DFSMS Basics: VSAM - Transactional VSAM (TVS) Basics/Implementation

In this session the speaker will discuss what Transactional VSAM (TVS) does, how it differs from regular VSAM Record Level Sharing (RLS) and what benefits you'll get when you switch to TVS.    In addition to the background we will cover what steps are need to implement TVS, on both the system and application level.  How to add the commit points, how to set up the Undo and Shunt Logs, how to set up RRS for error handling, and how backup and error recovery works.
