This is the opening session for the zNextGen Project, open to all attendees. The project officers will take about 20 minutes to introduce the zNextGen community, describe our mission and welcome back returning members. This time will also be used to point out important zNextGen meeting points and activities throughout the week, as well as recommended technical sessions. The remaining Project Opening time will be reserved for the keynote speaker, IBM's very own Glenn Anderson, and spent with executive sponsors speaking about zNextGen and other issues of importance to new mainframers.
