DFSMS Object Support: Data Archiving with OAM

Learn about one of the other data management products in DFSMS.   DFSMShsm is used to manage structured data, but what about unstructured data?  Unstructured data is one of the fastest growing data segments.  We'll provide an overview of the OAM (Object Access Method) product and explain how OAM can be used to manage unstructured (byte-stream) data.   We'll start with our front end API and work our way through the policy and storage management layer within OAM.
