How do you prepare yourself for when disaster strikes? What do you need to have available in your DR site to get your queue manager back up and running? How can you make sure that you keep your job? In this new session we will look at Disaster Recovery and MQ (mainly from a z/OS perspective, but also with a look at distributed queue managers). We will look at what makes up a queue manager, and therefore what needs to be backed up to a remote DR site. We will also look at considerations for DR testing, so that you can assure yourself that everything will be OK if the worst happens!
