Virtual Desktop Interface (VDI): Separating the Backend from the Endpoint

Desktop virtualization requires a new category of endpoint devices – a processor-free zero client – to eliminate the complexity and overheard of distributed computing as it’s deployed today using thin clients. Moving all processing and compute cycles onto the network enables completely centralized management and freedom from endpoint security threats and maintenance.
