  • We’ve been making print files for a long time. The technology keeps changing, though, and to take advantage of web presentment, document archive, email, lower-cost remote printers and repurposing print jobs we need to be able to change the documents we produce to other formats. Because recoding jobs to print in new ways is very expensive, we instead use print datastream transforms to convert from one format to another. But all print datastreams are not created equal. There are many pitfalls in successfully transforming print data. The speaker will describe different print file formats, how to set options to fit your use of the output, and how to get the best results from what you have.
