This session will focus on the availability of Oracle solutions on Linux on IBM System z, including Oracle Technology products and Oracle Applications Solutions, as well as resources available and sources of collateral from IBM when installing Oracle on Linux on z. It will cover the proof of concept process which involves the choices of architecture (including high availability options) , the sizing process and the steps to successfully implement an Oracle Database proof of concept project. It will also cover the implementation process which includes the steps on how to migrate to production.
