The July hardware announcement of zEnterprise 196 was accompanied by a new software announcement for Advanced Workload License Charges (AWLC). This session will cover AWLC and how it applies to the z196 and to mixed environments of z196 and older System z hardware. The transition plan will also be covered. When you require additional capacity you may turn to a z196 rather than continuing to invest in older technology.
