Biographical Sketch: Sam Cohen has been with IBM since 1983. He has worked with customers using VM and VSE since 1988, and worked with Linux on System z since the early Marist distributions in 2000. He also works with z/OS and AIX, along with IP and SNA communications products and protocols on all platforms. He has developed and taught education and orientation classes on z/VM, z/VSE and Linux for System z. He wrote "An Introduction to VSE Job Control Language" (previously posted on the z/VSE web site). Sam has been a consultant on z/VM, z/VSE, Linux and networking projects for many clients in the financial services, government, aviation, distribution, and health sectors. He is certified by the Open Group as a Level 2 Master I/T Specialist.
