  • Rapid network problem diagnosis at the packet level is critical for optimal service delivery, especially in a virtualized environment. In this presentation we will review the TCP/IP protocol, demonstrate how to take packet traces in different environments such as z/OS, z/VM and Linux, and show you how to interpret the data. Sample traces with popular protocols such as FTP and AT-TLS will be analyzed. If you have never looked at a packet trace before, this session will help you get started.
