As more organizations are getting involved and evaluating cloud computing on System z and weigh the risks against the rewards, security has come out as the top concern. The trust model for cloud computing may be the same, but there are real concerns around the underlying security processes utilized by the cloud provider. Yet for most enterprises, security for cloud computing can be a smooth evolution. Enterprises can often leverage much of their existing security infrastructure on System z to connect to the cloud. This session will identify the essential z security foundations and how they can be extended by using zSecure to help in this new environment or concept for z computing.
