DB2 10 for z/OS will no longer support private protocol plans and packages in any way. So, you need to convert them to DRDA. The presentation will start off by giving an overview of the differences between private protocol and DRDA protocol. It will then discuss the tools that have been introduced in V8 and V9 to aid in converting to DRDA protocol. The presentation will then conclude with a discussion on the steps one should take to convert to DRDA protocol.
