Ever since DB2 V5, RACF and DB2 have worked together to provide the RACF Access Control Module, DSNXRXAC, which allows you to control access to DB2 objects using RACF, In this session, we describe the choices you have when using RACF to control access to DB2 objects, and we explore the structure of the DB2/RACF interface and how RACF authorization requests are created during the DB2 authorization process, The latest enhancements for DB2 Version 10 will be covered.
