During this lab, you will use the z/OS Application Development component of Rational Developer for System z 7.6 (RDz 7.6) to work with remote systems to become familiar with the z/OS Application Development environment. You will define a remote z/OS system, set up a MVS project, edit, compile, link and run an IMS COBOL application through a connection to the mainframe.
