WAS z/OS WOLA Application Designs

The WebSphere Optimized Local Adapters is a technology that allows cross-memory exchanges between WAS z/OS and external address spaces such as CICS or Batch.  It has its pros and its cons ... so the question is, "When should it be considered?" and "When might other technologies be appropriate?"  We'll cover those questions as well as provide a review of the programming considerations of using WOLA.
