This is a technology preview of IBM Smart Analytics Optimizer. A new technology addition to IBM Information Management portfolio for the upcoming releases of IBM’s upgraded System z10s. The IBM Smart Analytics Optimizer enables and optimize a new class of high-speed business intelligence and analytic queries on transactional workloads. We will review the new business analytics capabilities on DB2 for z/OS, and discuss the enabling technology characteristics. We will also look at the system requirements, configuration details, and supported workloads.
