Never installed z/VM before? This session provides a walk-through demonstration of z/VM system installation, starting with the set of materials and documents provided by IBM. We’ll discuss product delivery options, initial installation and configuration tasks, and end with a functioning z/VM operating system installed and ready for use. If you’re new to z/VM, or newly-returned after a lengthy hiatus, this session will cover current installation and configuration techniques as well as current “Best Practices” recommendations for deploying z/VM.
