Thursday, August 5, 2010: 3:00 PM-4:00 PM
Room 201 (Hynes Convention Center)
Speaker: Rajeev Gandhi (IBM Corporation)

IBM WebSphere CloudBurst Appliance is a new hardware appliance that provides access to WebSphere virtual images and patterns for easily, quickly and repeatedly creating application environments that can be securely deployed and managed in a private cloud. It provides pre-loaded WebSphere Application Server Hypervisor Edition virtual images that are optimized to run in several server virtualization environments like VMWare ESX Server, IBM PowerVM and on IBM System Z.  Together, they enable organizations to easily, quickly, and repeatedly create application environments that can be published and managed in a private cloud. It provides an environment to easily create WebSphere infrastructure as a service.  WebSphere  CloudBurst integrates fully with development and service management tools from IBM Rational® and Tivoli® for end-to-end support. This presentation provides the details on the WebSphere CloudBurst appliance, along with a demo of how easy it is to work with the appliance and set up easy repeatable simple and complex WebSphere environments in your cloud.
