  • SHARE Boston 2010 Session 7627 Configuring the OMEGAMON Product Family - The PARMLIB Alternative Approach.pdf (1.9 MB)
  • Earlier this year, the OMEGAMON family of products introduced a new way to configure/upgrade as an alternative to IBM Configuration assistant tool (ICAT). This alternative method, based on a parmlib approach, has been implemented to help system programmers configure OMEGAMON similarly to other IBM products.

Our speaker will discuss the details of this parmlib approach, predicted and documented time savings for customers with multiple OMEGAMON products installed, as well as
discuss best practices for upgrading the OMEGAMON family of products.
