Aetna has been a large mainframe shop since the mid 1960's. We also have a large Open Systems environment which went through consolidation in the early 2000's. In 2005, 5 years after shutting down VM, it was re-introduced for a Linux on z/VM POC including a large Oracle application. What happened. What went right / wrong. Where are we now. And where are we headed with Linux on System Z.
Tracks: Database Administration, Linux Systems Management and z/VM Systems Programming
