The Tivoli Storage Manager Version 6 server uses DB2 rather than the proprietary database of previous TSM versions. This session will provide detailed planning information as well as discuss the several ways to go about the actual TSM V6 DB upgrade process. We will also cover typical maintenance tasks for the TSM V6 DB including sizing, extending, reducing,and moving of the logs and DB.
