Tivoli Storage Manager provides data backup/recovery protection for VMware virtual machines.This presentation will include a discussion on the challenges of data backup/recovery in the VMware environment and how those challenges are addressed with TSM's integration of VMware Consolidated Backup (VCB). In particular, the topics of how to use a dedicated backup proxy to offload the virtual machine backup workload and the associated recovery options are included.
