The System z platform's Sysplex technology provides unparalleled availability and horizontal growth. But for those new to the platform, it also introduces a number of new concepts. In this session, we will introduce those concepts and take a brief tour of some of the more interesting Sysplex functions, such as dynamic VIPA, Sysplex distributor, the load-balancing advisor, and generic resources.
