Recent enhancements in CICS TG deliver improvements in connectivity with applications executing in Java and .NET application servers. These enhancements include:
* Use of Channels and Containers - allowing the delivery of larger payloads
* Remote client access from non-Java applications - supporting deployment in .NET environments.
* Support for highly available XA configurations - improving scalability and availability
* An API for systems monitoring - providing for integration with CICS Explorer
The speaker will focus on how the applications executing in application server environments such as WebSphere Application Server and .NET can utilize APIs and interfaces provided by CICS TG to invoke applications which execute in CICS.
