The substantial CPU savings achieved when converting CICS DB2 applications to threadsafe has obscured the myriad other benefits of utilizing the Open Transaction Environment (OTE) in CICS.
In this session, we will review some of the advantages and pitfalls of exploiting the new functionality available in CICS under the OTE.
