Biographical Sketch:
Phil Weintraub is IBM Vice President of System z Software Sales for North America. His previous position was the worldwide IBM Vice President of System z Software Sales, with a special focus on growing System z in the emerging markets of Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, and Africa. Between 2002 and 2007, Phil was IBM Director, Enterprise License Agreements for the Americas. He was responsible for IBM's multi-year customer agreements including all distributed and mainframe software. Phil joined IBM’s mainframe division in 1981 as an MVS systems programmer, at the Poughkeepsie Programming Laboratory in New York. He has held a number of technical, finance, operations and sales leadership roles.
