Biographical Sketch: Mike is the DFSMSrmm architect and has been responsible for its design since its inception. He has a background in computer operations, and many years’ experience of MVS systems programming and system design before being involved with DFSMSrmm. Mike works with the other DFSMS and tape hardware architects to ensure IBM’s leadership in tape management solutions. Mike lives and works in the United Kingdom, together with a world-wide team across 4 countries and 5 locations. He is a regular presenter at SHARE and the IBM Storage Symposiums.
